When did you start the company?

We incorporated in 2021, officially opened our doors in January 2022.

What inspired you to start Weightless Training Ground?

I remember initially feeling intimidated when I walked into a gym. I first started working out in 2016. I felt like a fish out of water, and all of the equipment looked so intricate and complicated. I felt I never knew what I was doing or if I was working out correctly. It was only when I started working out with Jeremy that I gained some confidence in working out and exercising and started seeing results. I went to Jeremy with the idea for WeightLess Training Ground based on my own personal experiences to create a space where others like me would have a safe and professional way to work out, and to get and keep the results they worked hard to achieve.

We believe that the key to doing anything successfully is confidence, and that’s what we want to instill in our clients. We want them to feel like they can come to us to learn how to exercise properly and know what kind of workouts to do to accomplish their goals

What inspired the name of the company?

The idea was that we focus on a lot of functional movement for our workouts and training. It’s not just about getting stronger, but it’s about getting stronger where it matters. So we don’t focus on having a lot of heavy weights in the gym, we focus on more free weights to get the maximum results for your specific goals.

Weightless has a double meaning because the idea is that we can take the Weight off of your shoulders when it comes to Fitness and Nutrition so you get lasting results.

What are your credentials, affiliations, certifications?

What do you like best about what you do?

My favorite part about what we do is seeing people create long-lasting positive change in their lives, and knowing that we played a role in making that happen. I love the look on people’s faces when I explain how to do an exercise, and watching as they finally understand what they are supposed to be doing.

Something that was really important to us when starting this company was helping people make lasting change in their lives. I used to weigh 308 lbs at the beginning of my Fitness and Nutrition Journey, and what I realized after losing over 100 lbs is that 90% of the information and advice that people get about dieting and weight loss is nonsense meant to make short term changes to your body, but they never last in the long term. Our commitment is to teach our clients how to achieve their fitness goals and maintain them!

Favorite pastime, hobby or things you love to do outside of work.

Obviously my main hobby is working out. I typically tend to weightlift, but as our focus is also on functional exercise, I also try to include a lot of core / stability training as well as flexibility and mobility exercises for my joints.

Aside from that, I grew up loving video games. I got my Bachelors in Computer Information Systems in college and my first full time job was actually as Tech Support for a local software company. I’ve built my own gaming PC and I’ve always loved embracing a bit of my nerdy side.

Best client success story.

Besides my personal success with going from 308 lbs to my lowest weight being 190 lbs, my inspiration is my mom, who is also a member at WeightLess. After having bariatric gastric sleeve surgery, she had to follow a stringent diet and she wanted to get back to working out. She came to us to help with her Fitness Training as well as Nutrition coaching. She still trains with me 3 times a week. She used to be 251 lbs, now she is down to 158 lbs. Go Mom!

What inspired you to start Weightless Training Ground?

It was always a dream of mine to start my own gym ever since I excelled in the business part with training. Learning the structure to have a successful list of clients along with creating programs that would work for them, I’ve always felt the next step would be to have my own place. As time passed and I started a family, I realized that I wouldn’t have a lot of opportunities for running my own place, so when Brian approached me about his interest in starting a gym, I wanted to make sure he really wanted to do it without influencing my own love for it.

What are your credentials, affiliations, certifications?

My background has taken many forms of Personal Training, one on one or in groups: Master Trainer, Physical Therapist, Fitness Director & Fitness Coach.

What do you like best about what you do?

As cliche as it sounds, I enjoy helping people achieve their goals, I’m not just talking about physical health goals and changes; I’ve came across people who achieved life changing goals, like career changes, relationships, lifestyle changes etc. It all started with just a simple workout that had a therapeutic affect that gave them impetus to change their lives.

Favorite pastime, hobby or things you love to do outside of work.

When I was younger I love to travel and meet new people because I grew up an only child, I realized the importance of relationships and networking. Now that I have a family and kids, I enjoy spending time with them which is why I want to work on having a successful career so I can have more time with the family in the future.
